OST EXECUTIVES PLAY KEY ROLES AT AAAE CONFERENCE TRAINING SESSION

Boston, June 2019 – Vijay Narula, President and CEO, and Dr. Indu Singh, Senior Scientist, from OST, Inc., played key roles presenting at the 91st Annual American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Conference & Exposition (https://www.aaae.org/aaae/190501/Default.aspx) held in Boston from June 16-19, 2019. Dr. Singh facilitated the June 17 Smart Airport and Digital Transformation session, while Vijay Narula served as a panelist. Mr. Narula was joined on the panel by Jon D. Schleifer, Manager, Outreach and Partnerships, FAA, and other notable experts.

The conference session surveyed the challenges airports will face over the next 20 years. Topmost are estimates projecting that air passenger traffic will double to more than 14 billion by 2029. Total air cargo and aircraft movement will significantly increase as well. Airport executives will need new solutions to handle capacity, maintain security, and deliver positive customer experiences. The session provided attendees tangible insights on how to best position their airports to facilitate digital transformation and adapt to the evolving needs of tenants and passengers.
