OST, Inc, a growing and dynamic consulting company is looking for a Business / Systems Analyst with a strong requirements development, requirements management and customer relationship management experience. The primary responsibility will be to work with a group of analysts in supporting a nationwide asset management application.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, math and science degrees are required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- User of Requirements Development and Management tools such as CaliberRM or similar (RequisitePro, Doors, SerenaRM)
- Developing Business Process Maps, Use Cases, Use Case Diagrams, or UML
- ** Strong oral and written communication skills **
- ** Strong customer relationship management skills **
Preferable to have some of the following
- Experience in supporting production ‘web-based’ enterprise software (large user base / departmentalized team)
- CMMI Level 3
- Prototype Development Tool such as iRise or similar
- ITIL v3 knowledge
- FAA Experience and NAS or Asset Management Domain Knowledge
- JIRA or similar ticketing support tool
Responsibilities include:
- Establish stakeholder involvement strategies
- Elicit requirements through stakeholder meetings
- Develop and recommend innovative solutions
- Develop prototypes
- Facilitate stakeholders meetings
- Strong customer relationship management skills
- Create Business Process Maps
- Document Business and System Requirements Documents
- Establish use cases
- Assist in the development of business case document or presentations
- Document Gap Analysis Report
- Document Requirements Development and Management Plan
- Collect requirements metrics and perform requirements metrics analysis (e.g. requirement stability index)
- Establish and maintain requirements traceability matrixes
- Document change requests
- Conduct requirements change impact analysis
- Lead / facilitate document peer reviews
- Identify risks and develop risk mitigation strategy
- Assist in execution of CMMi Level 3process areas for continuous improvement
- Be able to manage multiple concurrent tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required.
