An investment in tools, equipment, and engineers has helped OST build a substantial development and engineering capability that far surpasses other firms our size. Investing in vital technologies and the capability to employ them to help us solve our client’s research, development, and engineering challenges is a critical part of both our current business focus and our formula for long term growth as a firm. Each year we devote increasingly significant resources to our research, development and engineering program.

In June 2005, we opened a fully equipped research development and engineering center in Uniontown, Pennsylvania where we can now focus on activities from research through testing. In 2006 OST developed and field tested an advanced radio frequency identification (RFI) prototype in our Uniontown facility. Our laboratory in Uniontown now offers an environment to test, evaluate, and integrate the latest commercial technologies for delivering tailored solutions to our clients.

While our research development and engineering efforts have led us to new innovations and developments in support of clients such as the Federal Aviation Administration and the United States Air Force, our focus remains on providing creative yet practical technology-based solutions for our client’s real-world challenges.
