OST Assists Multiple Charities
Washington, DC (PRWEB) December 20, 2007 – Optimal Solutions and Technologies (OST), a CMMI Level 3 externally appraised information technology services provider, announced that the company is sending out holiday e-cards this year, and donating the money that would have been spent sending out traditional holiday cards to multiple charities. Selecting one charity for each of the communities the company operates in, OST funds will benefit the following organizations:
- First Time Computers, DC,
- Leadership Cares, MD,
- Neediest Kids, VA,
- Loaves and Fishes, MA;
- The Reach Children’s Camp, PA; and the
- Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, TX.
First Time Computers accepts donations of used computers and computer components. From these castoffs, the organization builds high quality IT systems for students from lower income families who can't afford to buy them. LeadershipCares teaches leadership and life skills to teenagers and young adults. Neediest Kids provides children with the basics that they need to attend and succeed in school – clothes, books, meals, etc.. Loaves & Fishes provides food, clothing, emergency shelter and referral services to families in need. The Reach Children’s Camp provides service-learning opportunities for Jr. and Sr. High youth groups. The Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, a world leader in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions, strives to improve the care of children worldwide through innovative research and teaching programs.
